At Bedrock Labradoodles, our goal is to produce Chocolate, Apricot and Red Labradoodle puppies. We have a wonderful stud, Sunset Hills Red Chipotle, who has given us our chocolate labradoodles. We will continue to carefully pair our breeding matches to produce many lovely chocolate labradoodle puppies in the future. We fell in love with the chocolate color when we had our first chocolate labradoodle puppy, Bedrock’s Katrina! Kat has melded into a lovely Cafe Au Late color in her 2 years. The Breed Standards for the Australian Labradoodles states that the Chocolate Labradoodle coat colors can be: (1) Chocolate, (2) Cafe, (3) Lavender and (4) Parchment.

Chocolate Labradoodle Coat Colors:

1. Chocolate

This color should be a dark rich chocolate in color. True chocolates are born almost black in color and maintain the rich dark color throughout their lifetime. Color should be even. Nose pigment to be Rose in color [matching the coat color].

2. Cafe

This color ranges from a milk chocolate to silver-beige in color and will develop over time (1-3yrs). Nose pigment to be Rose in color [matching the coat color].

3. Lavender

This color has a definite smoky lavender chocolate color giving an almost pink to lilac appearance. Lavender dogs are born chocolate and will develop over time (1-3yrs). Nose pigment to be Rose in color [matching the coat color].

4. Parchment

This color is a creamy beige chocolate color reminiscent of a cup of coffee with a generous addition of milk. Parchment dogs are born milk chocolate and will develop over time (1-3yrs). From a distance adult dogs can be mistaken for a dark or smoky cream. Nose pigment to be Rose. (Rare color group).

We stand behind our puppies with a 2 year health guarantee. The puppies’ receive two complete vet visits. The first is at three to four days old when they get examined and their dew claws removed. The second is to get their first series of shots and worming, and their full exam to clear them to go to their new homes. All of the puppies will go home with their own personal puppy pack that includes pictures of the parents, copies of the parent’s registrations, helpful tips for training your puppy, all of the contact info for us and our veterinarian, and complete medical records.We strive to include the personal touches to make this an enjoyable experience from the time you decide to adopt one of our puppies, until your new puppy comes to your home. We welcome any and all questions you and your family may have. We understand that adding a dog to your family is a life changing experience.
