Guardian Home Program

What Does This Mean?

Being a guardian family for a Bedrock Labradoodles is an excellent opportunity to have a top quality dog as a family pet without all the expense.  We breed superior American & Australian Muti-generational Labradoodles with pedigrees through the ALAA.

We believe that every dog deserves a loving forever family they can call their own.   We are not a kennel breeder, as dogs raised in kennels do not get the socialization and stimulation that is needed to be well balanced & happy dogs.  Because we believe that a family life is of utmost importance, our Guardian Homes have become an important part of our program.  It benefits everyone involved, the dog, the labradoodle breeder and the forever family.   Our Guardian Families get to enjoy the excitement of being part of our breeding program and seeing the offspring of their very own Guardian dog being placed with families across the country so that they too can experience the same joy that this wonderful bloodline has offered their family.

Our Guardian Home Program allows for local families to have the labradoodle breeders “Pick of the Litter” puppy, or top notch young adolescent breeding dog for a fraction of the price.  These pups live with you as your very own family dog while we retain breeding rights for the dog.  Most dogs retire by four to five years of age having had three – four litters.  Once the Guardian Dog has completed their breeding career, he/she will be neutered/spayed; then, the contract is signed over for full ownership to the Guardian family and will remain a forever pet of their Guardian Family!

In summary: We like to place our upcoming breeding pups in forever homes with suitable families as their dog and while we retain breeding rights.  (We pay all breeding related testing expenses.)  So the dog stays with you as your family dog while we retain all breeding rights for the dog.
